Maritz Announces One-of-a-Kind Event for Midwest Region Celebrating Intersection of Innovation and Design

Innovation by Design Summit aspires to become the place-to-be for corporate, entrepreneurial and university innovators this fall; Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder, to headline.

ST. LOUIS (July 12, 2016) – Maritz, the 122-year-old sales and marketing services company, is announcing the launch of the Innovation by Design Summit, a new event for the St. Louis region and beyond that celebrates the unique intersection of innovation and behavioral design. More than 1,000 corporate innovators, entrepreneurs and university students will flock to St. Louis Union Station on September 27 and 28 to not only be inspired and exposed to new innovative methods, but will also benefit from the strong focus of applicability to the business world.

Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder, will headline the event by speaking to Apple’s success in intersecting innovation and human-centered design. Wozniak will be joined on the main stage with other high-profile keynotes, such as Jeremy Gutsche, CEO of Trend Hunter; Nir Eyal, author of best-seller book, Hooked: How to Build Habit Forming Products; Wendy De La Rosa, lead behavioral researcher of Irrational Labs. In addition to keynotes, breakout sessions will be led by top innovators and design thinkers from the Midwest.
