Maritz Celebrates Women's Leadership with 2015 YWCA Women of Distinction Award

December 08, 2015

Every fall, Maritz people in St Louis get to recognize women who are leaders at work and in the community, and just all-around awesome. The YWCA Women of Distinction Award presented by the YWCA Metro St. Louis honors women who have demonstrated excellence, leadership and integrity in their fields and in the community, serving as role models for other successful women. It supports, promotes and celebrates women’s leadership and the impact women have in their community.

We recently recognized 10 Maritz women for their outstanding work performance, leadership capabilities and community involvement. These women give countless hours to their communities through volunteerism with organizations like the American Cancer Society, Matthews-Dickey and the United Way to name a few. They are leaders within their teams and organizations, always going above and beyond to meet client needs, mentor those around them and excel in their professions.

The Maritz Women of Distinction honorees will represent Maritz among women throughout St Louis at the YWCA Leader Lunch on Dec. 10, 2015 at Union Station. The YWCA has a rich history of eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. It’s one of the oldest and largest women’s organizations in the nation, serving more than 25 million women and girls in 125 countries.

Congratulations to this year’s honorees:
