MARITZ INC. CREATES NEW PERFORMANCE CULTURE POSITION;
ANNOUNCES PERSONNEL CHANGES
ST. LOUIS (Jan. 26, 2004) -- Maritz Inc. has named Gordy Schroeder senior vice president of people and organization development. This new position was created to provide a more defined focus on developing the full potential of Maritz employees.
In this role, Schroeder will oversee human resources; career, leadership and organizational development; and employee training.
Prior to joining Maritz, he served as senior vice president, human resources, for GE Capital Rail Services, a global rail industry service provider headquartered in Chicago, Ill.
In addition, Maritz Inc. has named Cornelius "Con" L. McGrath vice president of human resources. In this role, McGrath will report to Schroeder and be responsible for human resources functions and programs of Maritz and its subsidiaries, including recruitment, staffing, retention, performance and talent management, compensation and employee benefits.
McGrath joined Maritz in 1996 as associate general counsel, specializing in employment law. Prior to joining Maritz, McGrath served as an attorney with Bryan Cave LLP, also specializing in employment law.
