Maritz Supports Education Through Namesake Fund

November 08, 2017

Continuing our mission to support organizations and programs designed to educate, and to show our support for teachers and students in our community, we are proud to announce another year of funding for the Maritz Arts & Education Fund for Teachers. This program is the result of a unique partnership between Maritz and the Arts & Education Council, a non-profit organization with the mission to enrich the vibrancy of the St. Louis community by investing in arts organizations, and growing the base of local arts supporters.

“Year after year we consistently see the positive effects on the students who have been reached through our collaboration with the Arts and Education Council … we love this partnership and the results it achieves,” said Debbie Schirmer, Maritz community affairs director.

This one-of-a-kind grant opportunity provides individual teachers, schools, and non-profit organizations the chance to apply for funding to support art-related projects and experiences that encourage creativity in the classroom.
