Maritz Sends Holiday Cheer to the Military, Veterans and Their Families
December 19, 2016
This year, in partnership with the American Red Cross, our people sent more than 2,300 holiday cards with wishes and thanks to members of the military, veterans and their families, as part of the Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign.
“As a retired Air Force Airman and a Veteran it does the heart good to see how much Maritz supports the American Red Cross in their efforts to support those of us who have served,” said Keith Wilkerson, a Maritz employee. “I personally know how it feels when the Red Cross steps in to help. These cards will mean so much to our veterans, knowing that we are thinking of them during this Holiday Season and that we appreciate the sacrifices they have made in their lifetime. Thank you all for all that you do as a Maritz team.”
Maritz and the American Red Cross have partnered together for the past two years through the Ready365 Program. Through this program, we “pre-invest” with the Red Cross to ensure they can be ready 365 days a year and at a moment’s notice when disaster strikes. In addition to our monetary donation, the Red Cross provides us with opportunities for our people to get involved and give back.
We are proud to be a part of the American Red Cross family, and we are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to send some holiday cheer to those who do so much for this great country.
